Members of the instance contribute towards the smooth running and upkeep of the instance. Contributions and budget are publicly available on OpenCollective <add link>
The membership fee is as fellows:
- Students: USD 1 per month. A fee waiver can also be available for those who cannot have their fee covered by either their institution, company, or lab and cannot pay on their own. Participate regardless of your funding status.
- Postdocs: USD 5 per month
- PIs: USD 10 per month
- Industry professionals (non-profit): USD 25 per month
- Industry professionals (for-profit): USD 50 per month

Any amount that you can contribute is appreciated and will go towards system maintenance, honorarium for admins/moderators(?), and DevOps.
